Three weeks into the new year. How are you doing? For many of us the beginning of the year is full of promise and possibilities, good intentions and hope for change. If you find your willpower flagging, your grand visions fading, or you are just in need of a mindful reset, this session is for you! In this brief 30 minute call we will share simple guided breathing and take some time to reset our minds around our intentions for the new year. We will enjoy watching the otters in Monterey Bay throughout, and we are firm believers that zoning out is a legitimate form of meditation. How is your posture? If it’s anything like ours, the answer is “not great”. Most of us work at a computer all day, which usually means sitting with shoulders hunched, typing furiously and frowning at a screen for hours on end. If you want to do something about your ergonomic situation, but you don’t have time for a full yoga session in the middle of the day, or you don’t have money for a full home office overhaul, then this session is for you. We will learn some simple techniques to counteract the “desk slump” and keep your body and mind relaxed and focused throughout the day.
